  They do a great breakfast, consistently, and the staff are all friendly. Been a while since I've had a a full meal, but when I did it was also great.

  On the surface looks like a high end restaurant but is just a pub and not a very good one at that. If you want to go to a good restaurant, don't choose the Thatch. If you want poor pub food at double the normal price, it's perfect. Very noisy, couldn't have a conversation without shouting at each other. Not very relaxing. The food was poor qualiy and cooked badly. Two different people send food back while I was there alone. Service was ok but did have to ask twice for a drink. Came home with headache and a big hole in my wallet. There are much better places to go and all are better value for money.

  Good food and friendly staff. Also very supportive of the local community which is a nice bonus.

  Excellent staff. Glorious eggs benedict. Seating area in the back in the sunshine is extremely pleasant, which they can't control of course. Well done!
