    I have always liked The James Figg, going back to when it was The Abingdon Arms. It's one of those places that is great at any time of the day. Ideal for a lunchtime meeting, or an evening out with friends.
    The food is very good, and the Chef is happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements.
    The only reason I haven't awarded five stars is, it's just too busy and lively on Friday nights. Of course, this is not a bad thing if that's what you're looking for. However, I prefer a more relaxed experience. Any other day or night, The James Figg is excellent.
